Rubberised Wire Brushes are manufactured
under the brand name "Austen Brush Company" which
is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scaleaway Tools & Equipment
Ltd.
These brushes are specially manufactured,
crimped steel wire sections, encapsulated in a hot vulcanised
rubber compound, to ensure that the rubber is evenly distributed
around each wire throughout the entire brush
With this specialist design,
the supported wire sections are kept in contact with the work
surface without spreading or sagging when pressure is applied.
This
means that a consistent brushing width can be maintained irrespective
of pressure applied.
